- Anytime Goal Scorer
- A bet that a chosen player will score at any point during the match.
- Arbitrage
- A betting strategy that exploits differing odds across bookmakers to guarantee a profit regardless of the result.
- Asian Handicap
- A specialized handicap betting system that eliminates the draw outcome and uses whole, half, or quarter goal lines to reduce the risk for bettors.
- Bankroll Management
- The practice of allocating a set amount of money for betting, sizing bets in relation to that bankroll to reduce risk.
- Bet Settlement
- The process of finalizing a bet after the event, determining whether the wager won or lost and calculating the payout.
- Bookmaker Margin
- The built‑in advantage a bookmaker includes in the odds, ensuring profitability over the long term; also called juice or vig.
- Both Teams to Score (BTTS)
- A wager that both competing teams will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- A feature allowing bettors to settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or minimizing a loss based on current odds.
- Correct Score
- A bet that predicts the exact final score of a match, offering higher odds due to its difficulty.
- First Goal Scorer
- A bet on which player will score the first goal in a match.
- Futures
- Long‑term bets placed on the outcome of a tournament or season, such as which team will win the World Cup.
- In-Play Betting
- Betting on match events after the game has started, with odds that update in real time.
- Line Movement
- Changes in betting odds or point spreads over time, often caused by betting volume, team news, or market action.
- Live Betting
- Another term for in‑play betting, referring to wagering while a match is in progress.
- Moneyline
- A bet on which team will win a match, with odds expressed as a positive or negative number indicating the favorite and underdog.
- Odds
- The numerical expression of the likelihood of a particular outcome, used to calculate potential payouts.
- Outright Bet
- A wager on the overall winner of a competition, such as the tournament champion, before it begins.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals in a match will be higher (Over) or lower (Under) than a set line.
- Parlay
- A single bet that links two or more selections; all must win for the bet to pay out, with odds multiplied together.
- Player Props
- Bets on individual player performances, such as goals, assists, bookings, or minutes played.
- Point Spread
